gorgeous

damn

Nice tofa!

i have seen many time lapse videos on here in the past and im ok with them but considering your competing against actual full animations you sould put in extra effort to make these more entertaining

although its some good art gonna have to rate it as a video mate

Smutphibian responds:

How do you suggest I make it more entertaining?

Also why does it have to be graded against animations and not on it's own merit as an art process video?
I don't understand the need for competition. I'm here to share my art and how I make it, not try to one up other artists.

great work on the visuals the characters look very cute! the frame by frame animated segments were ambitions and its something that is usually neglected in vn's happy to see some here.

the frame by frame animated segments featured here could use some work, its not quite near the level of craft that is set by the artwork, but still very happy to see it nonetheless

DetectiveSpooky responds:

Thank you so much!

outside of a tiny bit of clipping, and maybe a bit too much movement on the face this looks really good,

again like the previous commenter i have very little experience with 3d animation. this could be a problem on newgrounds, hopefully you stick around to share your wisdom :)

could have seriously done without the long pause of empty frames, it almost made me click off

other than that what came after the pause was pretty promising, your art is good but your animation is a little inconsistent. some loops are simply not looping, making it very obvious at which point you started animating as the last frame quickly jumps to it

must say there are some very pleasing moments of animation and i understand this is a random assortment of work so im looking forward to what you got to show next

Cristalflake responds:

Thank you so much for the advise! Actually, I didn't noticed the BIG empty space, it was supposed to have an animatic there... its weird because I uploaded the same file but with audio on youtube (I just took the audio off here because two musics were copyrighted and I suppose I can't put it here that way...) and there the empty space have video and audio that works :t
Anyway, thank you for seeing it, and taking your time to critique! I appreciate your help!

well animation wise not a whole lot to critique, for the frames you got it moves how it should, just lacking the frame's that would give us some much needed juicier movement

will give good props to the artist for some good poses
and friendlyjordies for his comedic talents (good choice)

fantastic choice of medium, paper work always makes the aniamtion more striking in my opinion.

it did get a little janky at times but nothing that wasn't easily understood, the scene with the remainders initially pulling the cracker was also really well crafted.
no expert on sfx but feel you probably were not too engaged in that area of this animation and could step that up a notch for the next project

Shufflehound responds:

Thanks. Hope to do more paper-y stuff in future. Anything to get away from vector lines.

you did a good job on making a fun to little loop despite the slow frame count, each pose is strong and flow together really well together and that's great talent in itself. excited to see something even crazier next time!!

Techycutie responds:

Thank you so much! I'm working hard to learn more so my future animations are even better. :)

think different!!!!!!!!!!
